If you are not a child of God, having not complied to His word then, we come together to proclaim His word that He died on the cross so we can be reunited with Him. The gospel tells us that we must believe tha Jesus Christ died fo our sins and rose to life on the third day. We must believe and repent from our sins, confess His Holy name and be buried in baptism to have our sins washed away and be added to the family of God. If you came because of God, because He saved you, you are here for the right reason. We are here in spirit with the right attitude to make Him the central focus of our lives, we are here for the right reason.

When we consider these reasons we may realize that we are lacking in the praising of God. One of the primary reasons to come together is to hear and heed God’s word. Our consumer-driven society is also saturated with mind-numbing media designed to provide pleasurable entertainment for the purpose of drawing consumers into the sphere of influence, where advertising is permitted to make its pitch.

We are glad to enter into the house of the Lord because of the purpose for going there. Day 1® is the voice of the historic Protestant denominations. Through sermons, blogs, and video & audio resources, Day 1 proclaims God's hope for a hurting and divided world.
It's our mission to serve worship leaders globally by creating resources that allow them to maximize their time towards what really matters. It is action, service and ministry to the world’s most vulnerable, all in God’s love. So much for being glad when we are told we are going to be in the House of the Lord.
Many years ago I read an essay in which a woman was reminiscing about her father. She said that when she was young, she was very close to her father. The time she experienced this closeness the most was when they would have big family gatherings with all the aunts and uncles and cousins. At some point, someone would pull out the old record player and put on polka records, and the family would dance.
We can also sing to the God who heals and saves, and who always makes a way. He hung upon the cross and rose up from the grave, and His power is still rolling stones away.
